[ She starts on the third cupcake. ] It's amazing. Best thing I've tasted all week. ... Thanks.

That's right dodo. Ako is always looking out for her junior Precure. [Exclaimed Dodori.]

Yeah and she's always complaining that all the magical girls in town aren't taking care of themselves shi shi. [Added Shiri.]

Hey you two. Just because we sense magic from her doesn't mean she's a magical girl. And why are you two butting in now?

[ Kyouko jumps a little at the voices. ] These two follow ya everywhere?

An' actually... I am a magical girl. 'm just not a Precure.

Yeah, they're my fairies. Dodori and Shiri. Based on the notes of the Do-Re-Mi scale and so on.

Huh, I figured as much. You have that kind of magic so to speak.

So, what happened?

[kuukai]

We went into the Pale Pony. Jappleack took us in... we found a coupla things but we lost her. Couldn' get out the other two we found in there, either.

[ She sets the box down for a moment and toys with the empty cupcake wrappers. ] Jury's out on whether or not it was worth it. I say horseapples.

[tsunpony]

No sacrifice is worth it, at least to me. [Sitting down next to K, the young teenager exhaled.]

What did Jappleack say when she was left behind though? Did she want you to go on ahead? If so, you should honor that. I know it's lame and stupid but I know how hard it is to leave someone behind.

Yeah but here's the thing: I don't buckin' care what she said, the fact is I left her.

If ponies hadn't been offerin' themselves up ta the Pale Pony left 'n' right, I woulda stayed too. But we were runnin' outta bodies and we needed ta get some information back.

I was kinda hopin' she'd make it back too. She can travel, so I thought she might, but I guess she needs a quiet place, and the Pale Pony really... isn't that. [ She shivered. ]

... If she's not back soon, we gotta go back in there.

[tsunpony]

I see. In a situation like that, it feels impossible to save everypony, or anyone at that. It sounds like she had near-absolute control over the area, correct? So that means that Jappleack will need rescuing. And that means a bigger force that can pierce boundaries and barriers.

[Ako folded her hooves, thinking about it.] To my knowledge there are two others than myself who have the power to cross worlds. There's Tsukasa Kadoya, who can move between worlds. And then there's Gentarou Kisaragi who can open wormholes between points in the universe.

Your best bet is to ask Kadoya. He can accurately open barriers and make bridges. Bar that, ask around for more help. I'll come along this time too.

I think I could do it. Might take a little help, but I do it long enough and I might get the feel of it. Since my body an' soul are separate anyway.

Where can I find him?

[tsunpony]

He's everywhere mostly. Look for a guy with a pink camera and a smug sense of superiority. That'll lead you to Tsukasa.

[Vague yes, but Tsukasa stuck out like a sore thumb all the time.]

All right. Easy enough.

[ She gets started on the cupcakes again. Fourth one. ] I'm just warnin' ya, if you come, could mess you up. [ And Kyouko's living proof. ]

[tsunpony]

I'm a Mayfield survivor. When you've seen your own father become human centipeded together with his hands on his feet and feet on his hands and walking backwards, you tend to shrug off the little stuff.

[Yes she used human centipede as a verb.]

[kuukai]

[ Kyouko almost lets the food in her mouth fall to the ground. But she swallows it. ]

Right. Okay. You'll be perfect.

[tsunpony]

Good. You may want to seek out other Mayfield Survivors too. We're pretty good at handling horror.

[kuukai]

I'm keepin' as many people outta this as possible.

[ Swallowing, and admitting: ] But we may need a big crew ta extract Jappleack if we need it.

The thing is, though, if we get her out and leave another pony behind, we're no better off than when we started.

Which only reinforces you need a team to get them in and out safely. And as many trapped as you can too. Someone to hold the door as it were.
