Spell 1 [Visual]
[This holiday season, the scroll feed is proud to present... a bleary-eyed sky-blue pony with white bed hair that encompasses his entire head. Groggily, he pushes himself semi-upright and smacks his lips, blinking off his sleep.]
...hhh...where...where in the world am I, do you suppose?...Archimedes? Archimedes, are you about somewhe- oh.
[Enough cognisance has been regained that he suddenly notices his hoof, and he examines it for a moment.]
...mm. That's odd. I don't remember turning into a shetland pony. Let's see now...
[Finally getting up, the old equine trots around a bit, giving himself a once over.]
Beard's still here, unusual, that. The rest seems OH! Oh, that had better not be a tattoo down there. Ngh... won't rub off. No, that won't do, I'm not going through that nonsense again. Now, where I w...Hmm. Glasses still there, that's good. Pointy hat? Yes, yes, that seems to be in good nick. Bit crumpled, but nothing a goo- ...by george, is that a horn on my head?!

[He chuckles as Merlin looks around, assuming he's looking for the cuff.]
Of course I'm not wearing it now. I keep it locked up when I'm not using it. There is no real rush, so whenever you'd like something to puzzle over is fine. Get yourself settled and learn your way around first.
[They'd almost reached the other side of the town and Skyfire headed for an area sort of near the Everfree forest, but not really. His home was in a clear area of land a little ways from town. From the distance it looked somewhat like a huge, built up hill, with a large window of raw glass on one end and a covered opening on the other. A couple of stone chimneys sticking out of the top as well.]

Ah, now that's very impressive. Majestic, yet cosy; not an easy combination. Looks a little like a scaled-up version of home, actually. (Chuckle)

[Skyfire settles himself on the ground and splays a wing so Merlin can get down off his back easily, instead of being silly and trying to jump down.]
You live underground? [He leads the way towards the door and pins the cloth aside, but Merlin might notice the smaller opening meant for smaller visitors in that thick canvas before he does. Inside is a big open room with a stone floor, a kitchen area and a 'living room' like area, but not much in the way of things. There is a sloping tunnel off to one side however, and the room is both well heated and lit.
Most of the heat coming from the large fireplace on one wall, with plenty of soft cushions for visitors to sit on, along with some furniture. It would appear that Skyfire spent most of his time sitting on the floor, as there is no dragon sized furniture.]

[In he goes, to make himself at home, and admire the place.]
Ah, yes, yes, very cosy interior. Rather majestic, too, but that might just be from my angle.
no subject
[Skyfire was amused by how easily Merlin seems to be taking all of this in stride.]
Have a seat and I'll be back up shortly. Hopefully it won't take me too long to find the book and bags.
no subject
Cliffside, eh? Well, I've been contemplating a seafront property myself. Perhaps somewhere on the white cliffs of dover. Rich history there, and remarkable views of course.
[Yeah, Merlin leads a very interesting life. He's just glad you're not like that other, more belligerent purple dragon he had to face that one time.]
no subject
Excuse me a moment.
[Skyfire travels down to his 'room' as well as the cavern he's been using for storage and returns a short while later with a black pair of 'saddle' bags, a couple of books and a pouch of bits.]
Lets see if these will fit you... They might be a bit on the loose side though.
no subject
Well, it seems to do well enough. Might work a little better once the bags are full.
[As he says this, one of the bags starts to slide off. Merlin catches it just in time.]

[Skyfire starts fiddling with the straps a moment and then frowns. The straps set to the smallest size helps, but they'll chafe something awful if they don't fit right.]
Closer... but they're still off... I have an idea, I'll be right back.
[He goes back down through that tunnel 'downstairs' only to come back in a few moments with a thick piece of grey fabric and a pair of shears in a funny looking contraption that fits onto one of his claws. Skyfire might not be good at working with fabric, but surely he could trim a thick piece of fleece without wrecking it.]
A bit of padding should make it fit comfortably until you can find something that fits you better. Lets get those off and see if I can manage to trim this fabric into something useful without wrecking it...

[Passes the bag over]
no subject
There. I think that should do it. Shall we see if it will fit any better with a bit of padding?
no subject
Mneh, I think it might just do without the padding. I might know better after a mile or two of walking with it, but I'll let you know if it does get discomfiting.
