FIRE - Visual

[It seems like a rare shot, coming from a scroll in the middle of the street as someone had put down a bag in a hurry. The cause of this however was a fire in a lower downtown Ponyville house. One thing lead to another, and because of timing, a simple house fire grew into a blaze. Fire crews were already there and a weather team was dumping water on it.

It seemed like it was all in control.

And then the front of the building exploded.

Crews howled to get the watching civilians back when a stallion in fire truck red stumbled free from the blaze.]

Starwing is still in there! [He howled. That was enough for the owner of the bag as a familiar mare charged headlong into the blaze despite the fire crews trying to stop her.

Moments passed, and then there was another blooming fireball. The painters house had caught fire on the flammable paints when suddenly, a large figure erupted from the house, smashing through the flaming debris, clutching onto a soot-stained fire department.

All you could see, filling up the area was a giant symbol poking out of a wrecked set of burning clothing as a huge body stumbled free, smoking from many places, and clearly still on fire as the owner of the enormous hoof climbed free from the burning wreckage.]

[With the crash of shattered glass, Kamala escaped right into the shield carrying her parcel. She landed, bounced once and skidded down.

With a groan she let go of the pup who licked her face.] It's okay, I got you. You're safe now.

[There could still be more in there and she got to her hooves wobbily. Her uniform was already smoking and the tip of the scarf was smoldering.]

I gotta go back in there, in case anyone's left...

[As Kamala landed, Violet hurried over to her, dropping the shields around both of them.]

I'm going in with you.

[It would be easier to have on shield protecting them.]

All right. [She nodded at Violet as she held out a hoof to bump before going in.]

Ms Marvel. Glad to have you on board.

[Steeling herself to make sure they were going in for another sweep, she proclaimed,] Avengers Assemble! [Before starting for the door again.]

[She met Kamala's hoof with her own, then formed a force field around the both of them, big enough for them both to walk side by side.]

Violet.

Neat move. [She compared it briefly to Invisible Woman's ability for a moment before diving in.]

I've swept the upstairs. Downstairs needs to be checked. [She cringed at the cracking noise nearby.] Let's hurry. I heard this guy has a lot of pets.

[She nodded as they moved.] All right. The force field should help against the smoke for a while, but we can't push it.

All right. Lets check the left side then. If we have to, the right too.

[Heading there, she peered through the smoke. It was starting to steam now and the floor creaked, but thankfully there didn't seem to be a basement.] See anything?

[The smoke was making it a bit hard to see, but there didn't seem to be anything here.]

No...

[Kamala nodded and cringed when the wall creaked.] I think we've got everything. Lets get out of here fast.

[Too late. A wall collapsed in on itself and Kamala grimaced.] Not getting out that way...

[Looking up, Violet frowned in worry.]

The building won't hold for long.

[The shield would protect them, but...it would make getting out still difficult if the whole place collapsed on top of them.]

It won't. I think... we're going to have to go through a wall.

Lemme out for a moment, I'll make a hole.

[She hated to do this, but with the inertia behind her, she could feasibly punch through the outer wall.]

[Hesitating for just a moment, Violet then dropped the force field, coughing as the smoke started rushing in all around them.]

[Moving quickly, Kamala expanded her hoof and slammed it against the wall. It buckled twice before she smashed right through it, making a hole big enough for the two of them.]

C'mon! [She exclaimed, holding out her hand for Violet to take.]

[Grabbing hold, Violet formed another force field around them as more debris from the burning building began to fall.]

[And out they go! It's not long before the roof falls down since its still thatched, and the weather crews are there, smothering the damage.]

Well... that was... scary.

[Violet drops the force field, letting out the smoke that got caught in with them and coughing once she was able to breathe again.]

Y-Yeah...

I really don't want to do anything like that again. [Take your fires people, please. No more.]

[Violet winced a little, sighing.]

It's...something we have to get used to. As heroes...

[At least from what she's been told.]

It's at times like this that I almost miss the Inventor. Even how crazy he was.

The inventor?

Yeah... in my world, he was a guy who made a clone of Thomas Edison, but kinda spliced him with a bird. He was a twisted guy who was luring teenagers and using them as human batteries.

When I say I'd almost prefer him over a fire, I have to re-evaluate that statement now.

...Wow...

[She had only ever faced on villain before. But as crazy as he was, the inventor sounded even worse.]

Yeah. I'm kinda glad it's all and done with everything though.

[Kamala sighed and brushed herself off.] I guess I should get changed, before the suit crinkles up on me...

Yeah, that'd probably be a good idea.

What I wouldn't give to get Tony Stark's tailor some day. But I don't have a thousand to spend on the equipment level of Armani.
