[Fluttershy opens her scroll. She looks a little urgent and a tiny bit ashamed.]

Omigoodness, with all that's been going on, we forgot about this! The Princesses have been saved from Tartarus! Me, Fluttercruel, and some others went into Tartarus to rescue them, and with the help of a unicorn named Alicantor, we, um... made sure that the creature that was trying to attack them didn't hurt Princesses Celestia, Cadance, and Luna.

So, um... just so you know they're safe now.

[She kind of... sits there awkwardly for a couple seconds before rolling the scroll up.]

Because! The ruins of Stalliongrad had info on him! He was the last alicorn ruler and he got blasted with the Elements by his mentor.

Ask any pony who's been there and seen the relics!

He had to have been! His mentor had to use the Elements and lots of ponies got caught up in what happened. It ended their entire civilization!

Basically? He was being corrupted and doing terrible things. There wasn't much in specifics, but it was apparently bad enough that the Pale Pony gave somepony the Elements to use on him!

But... then why would the pony I talked to be locked up? He was helping us...

[Fluttershy is now a little confused.]

Um, it was at least someone that knew the name... We're talking to someone else and we're discussing a trip back into Tartarus sometime to talk to him about this...

Um...I'm not Twilight, but...that's all true. We found several different documents about it. They weren't very specific though - they just said that he was afflicted by the Corruption, he was using something called the Word of Truth, and so...

...well. Supposedly the Pale Pony came to the author in a dream and gave him the Elements to defeat Alicantor.

Whoever he was, he didn't look corrupted at all. And we dodn't ask much about who he is. We only argued that the things in Tartarus weren't completely irredeemable.

Well...if it was the same Alicantor, he's been through several thousand years and presumably exposure to the Elements of Harmony between then and now. I'd be surprised if he were exactly the same.

But you said he was a unicorn?

Yeah. Black coat, grey mane, green eyes, and freckles. Looked kinda cute, too.

There - weren't any physical descriptions of him that I recall. But he was certainly an alicorn, and it doesn't appear that the Elements can change that.

I suppose it could have been someone else... [He sounds doubtful though. Pollo's never gotten the impression that ordinary ponies would end up imprisoned in Tartarus.]

...Well, he was wearing a cape, but given what was said already, We're starting to think that he was a liar.

He at least knows who Alicantor is. If there's a way to get back into Tartarus and find him safely, we can question him about this all.

That might be worth another trip! And he'd likely be in the same area, if he's a prisoner...I've never been down there, but it doesn't sound like they get to just walk around.

When I was in Tartarus back in my Equestria, it was just a giant free-for-all with the things in there clawing and trying to tear me apart. I had to fight my way out.

Minako's right. Entries recovered all point to Alicantor being the last alicorn ruler of Stalliongrad before it was wiped off the map.

He's also the reason Stalliongrad was wiped off the map.
