2nd Idea [Accidental Visual]

[With everything settling back down again, it should be the best time to relax. But it apparently was the opposite for Tadashi, who could be seen pacing around his room at the commune. His tail flicked with every turn, and the expression on his face was more agitated and troubled than normal for those who had seen him before.

Another passing turn had him pausing, finally noticing the scroll was open. And for a moment he almost seemed to glare at it, his hardened expression persisting as he debated whether to simply roll it up.

But it only lasted a moment before his expression softened, and he managed a small, if somewhat weary smile.]

Anyone feel like grabbing a drink?

...Or taking a walk. Or...something.

[It just seemed like he could use the company.]

Drinks are a specialty of mine. The next question would you like tea or something stronger?

[Rationally, he knows he shouldn't drink at times like this. But the temptation was strong.]

[Well, at least he's not leaning towards alcohol. She'll keep an eye out for him and if he manages to hit the bottle too hard, she wouldn't have much trouble carrying him back. She maybe tiny but she's still strong.]

Why don't you come down to Otsuki Chacha in the Night Market then? Don't worry, the drinks will be on me and anything you say will be kept confidential.

I don't...mind paying for them.

[Either way, he starts making his way over.]

No, really I insist. I kind of overdone it with how much tea I could stock and honestly I couldn't bear the idea of throwing it out. Besides, tea tastes better when shared.

[Granted, she could use it for her gardening needs and she does have her tea creation powers but hey a little white lie couldn't hurt this once.]

[He does really appreciate it though.]

[With a nod, he'll roll up the scroll. And several minutes later he arrives at Otsuka Chacha.]

[As promised, Saori is behind the counter and gives a smile when the door opens. The only one company she had was the orange tabby cat asleep at the windowsill.]

[Of course she's referring to the wall of tea shelves behind her.]

[With a nod he goes over, looking over the wall of tea as he sits.]

Hmm. I'm not really familiar with too many kinds...What would you recommend?

Let's see...one of my personal favorites is called Gyokuro. It's a bit more high end compared to your standard green tea.

[One of the perks to be a unicorn? Multitasking with magic. She had a teapot ready and poured a small amount of the bright green tea leaves into it along with some hot water. By the time she gotten two cups ready, the tea was ready to serve. As the hostess, she poured Tadashi's cup first and served it to him.]

[She did say it was high-end...and it smelled pretty amazing.]

[She laughs softly and shakes her head.]

It's slightly higher end but I never said rare. I got plenty of it in storage so don't worry about payment.

Well, if you insist on a payment of some kind though, how about you tell what's troubling you. O-only if you're comfortable talking about it though. I wouldn't want to pressure you.

[Her request has him hesitating for a moment as he tried to think.]

It's...not that I mind, I guess. It's just...It's weird. I'm not even sure how to deal with it properly.

Sometimes having someone to talk it out helps.

[She gives him a small reassuring smile.]

You're not the only here who has died in their home world. I can personally attest to that.

[Granted, she technically got better from being dead and upgraded to goddess. The pain of dying never really fades away completely even with time.]

[He nods a little.] Yeah...I had heard that before...

It's just...hearing it from my younger brother...

He came when we were in our original forms and we had guests?

[At the words mentioning a little brother, it looked like Saori's heart stopped for a second.]

It's definitely hard to hear it from your loved ones. Is he at least doing okay?

Unfortunately, I haven't heard from my own family. I've been swept up between worlds for close to three years now. To be honest, I'm not sure I could face my own little brother now after all these years.

[He nods.] Yeah...He told me how hard it had been for him at first...it had taken him a while to really cope.

After what happened to our parents -

[He cut himself off. That was more he didn't really want to get into right now.

Hearing about her had him reigning his own emotions back a bit.]

I'm sorry to hear that...

You lost your parents as well? We do have more in common than we think. I basically had to take care of my little brother since I was five after we lost our parents.

Sadly, he had gone missing before I had died. While my world has an afterlife and I spent a lot of time looking, I haven't found him.

Yeah...they were in an accident when I was younger.

That must be hard...

[He couldn't imagine...if he had to spend his afterlife looking for Hiro. If anything had happened to his brother...That would probably be worse than being dead.]

Yeah, it's been...oh geeze, I'm 98 and I died when I was 27. At this point, there's a chance he might've been reborn.

[She laughs sheepishly since she normally doesn't drop her age like that so casually.]
