  [Shortly after one Queen Chrysalis 'graces' the journals with her visage, and a Pinkie Pie shoots off her message from the inside of a cocoon, an urgent visual message appears on the journals. One blue mare in armor and deep blue cloak can be seen with a few downed changelings behind her, and unlike normal, her countenance is anything but cheery, or even anxious. After checking to make sure the message is going out, she starts, her voice intense and determined. Have one relentless battlemaiden, Ponyville.]

Attention! This is Nephenee of Crimea, bringin' news from the battlefield!

Y'all just heard Pinkie and Chrysalis, right? Them Changelin's got a bunch of our friends, and they're sappin' 'em. We need to get rid of this threat, an' fast! We can't kill 'em, they're innocents, but we can knock 'em out, rescue our friends, and hold her 'til Princess Celestia gets here! But Ah can't do none of this by myself, so Ah ask to see who will help rescue and-or take out this so called 'Queen'! 

[Another changeling charges her, and she hangs the scroll in midair long enough to spinkick it off screen,]

Please contact me as soon as y'all can! We need folks for that an' we need folks who know a strategy for beatin' these jerks! Any help will be appreciated!

[In short, reconnaissance and fighters, and a battle plan beyond that.]

To those captured, help is on the way as soon as we can! Don't lose hope!

[She quickly ends the feed as more charge. Dang, are these things everywhere?!]

[As for those nearby, the Sentinel is fighting off a bunch of these things by herself, but with their sapping, she probably could use some assistance.]

Your Highness, Ah'm aware Mako has contacted you about the situation. If we can subdue her ere your return, how shall we hold her until you can get here?

[The thought of tying him up did occur to her, but she also realizes that then he'd be helpless if attacked.

The scales are completely rigged here, yes. She sighs, then speaks, a razor's edge to her voice.]

You will do no such thing.

[Then, softer, so as not to scare him.]

Ah will go with ya, and defend and fight for ya. But if things get bad, Ah want you to fly as fast as your wings will carry you. You are not allowed to die again if Ah have any say in this. Ah'll take the blow myself.

[It is crystal clear she means that.]

[Bertie's ears fell back. He'd thought her intimidating after the way she'd taken out those changelings, but having her ire directed at him is somewhat terrifying in its intensity. He still feels important to insist, though.]

[..Horsefeathers, she'd scared him anyway. Sigh...what to do, what to say. She thinks for a moment, weighing her words as she makes her facial expressions neutral. Finally, they soften, as does her tone.]

And you shall have it, my friend. Come what may, Ah will always be there for ya. We'll face the enemy together, snap them like twigs under our hooves, and we'll rescue our loved ones.

Ya have my lances and shield at your disposal, Sir Bertie. Forever.

[He's touched by her words, even if he's still just a little scared of her.]

[A flash of confusion crosses her face at the French term, before settling back to softness. She'd ask about that later. They had a job to do.]

Ah'll come to ya at the commune momentarily. Ah seem to have scared 'em off for the time. Jus' stay there and stay safe, Ah'll whistle when Ah get there.
