[The image of a costumed Chronos appears on your scroll, politely bowing a greeting to all of you.]

Greetings. I am Chronos. First off, I have that all of you have done a good job of finding and capturing the thief of the weather gem. I am sorry I could not have helped more on that. Thank you all for your help, everyone.

Now, I wonder if there are any other superheroes that want to join up with me. We can form The Justice League of Equestria and fight villains together!

[Midnight in Ponyville.

After all that chaos, there's a stealthy figure looming on the broken town hall, glowing white eyes looking everywhere for trouble. The figure couldn't sleep, not yet. Not when there's things to be found.

Reaching into the folds of their cape, they pressed a button as theme music played.]

Daring pone of mystery,
Champion of right,
Swoops out of the shadows,
This mare owns the night.
Somewhere some villain schemes,
But his number's up.

(3-2-1) Mare Do Well (When there's trouble you call MW)
Mare Do Well (Let's get dangerous)
Mare Do Well (Mare Do, Mare Do Well!)

Cloud of smoke and she appears,
Master of surprise.
Who's that cunning mind behind
That shadowy disguise?
Nopony knows for sure,
But bad guys are out of luck.

'Cause here comes (Mare Do Well)
Look out! (When there's trouble you call MW)
Mare Do Well (Let's get dangerous)
Mare Do Well (Better watch out, you bad boys)
Mare Do Well!

[And then noticing the scroll was recording, the pony explodes into a cloud of purple gas.]

[Yo, ponies, sup. Don's in his half-finished store right now, looking at the scroll with a super-intense stare.]

Ok. As of right now, I'm throwing my hat in to help out with the investigation surrounding the gem. If anypony's got info, I'd be glad to hear it, and I'll share what info I can with you. I'm making this mostly public so we can piece together everything we've all gotten so far. And the sooner we work on this together, the quicker this should hopefully resolve.

[A sigh.]

And, please, for the love of shell, don't provoke the griffons! Look, I get that what they did was questionable, and...there's some stuff I'm pondering about regarding their actions with this, but the situation is already tense as it is, and they don't seem to entirely trust us as it is. Don't give them any more reason to affirm their distrust and make things worse, ok?

[A pause.]

Speaking of, Wondrous Bolt? And...colt that...apparently time-traveled? If you guys can respond to this, that would be good, also. There are some questions I've gotta ask you both.

[When the scroll flares to life, it reveals a dour-looking griffon with black feathers, green eyes, and a blue-gray body. He is pacing, looking up occasionally at the scroll. Even from the limited view, it's clear he has a limp. It becomes apparent why a moment later when he moves farther away, sits down on his haunches and glares at the scroll viewer. From just below his elbow down, his right foreleg is missing. In its place is an iron rod with spikes at the end.]

Good afternoon.

[The way he says this sounds more like an indictment of this particular afternoon and its quality rather than a greeting.]

My name is Detective Inspector Ironclaw. As has likely been made clear already, Cloudsdale is now over Ponyville. Myself and my contingent of griffons attempted to move it over the course of the night to neutral territory. We were waylaid by a rabble rouser.

[He glances off-screen for a moment, expression going somehow more stony.]

After extensive negotiations with the Pegasi Council and the Princesses Celestia and Luna this morning, we have agreed to release him as a show of good faith. In return, we are to have the full and unconditional cooperation of all Equestrian citizens in the search for our weather gem. It is a large, blue sapphire infused with our weather magic. It was stolen approximately nine months ago from our factory in Griffaltar. We have made due with the remaining one, but it is being over-taxed and the lands beyond Equestria's boarders have been experiencing severe drought as we have struggled to supply necessary weather.

We know the thief must have been a pegasus. No unicorn or Earth pony would even be able to reach the gem given our enchantments over the area. And no griffon would steal it. We intend to search Cloudsdale.

We also require the new pony known as Efraim Gatsby, Visitor 2-4-6-0-1 to the Griffaltar Weather Factory, to step forward for questioning in connection with the theft. If he will not come forward, we will use what force may be necessary to compel him.

We have no wish to remain here longer than we must. We ask for your cooperation and have been assured that measures will be taken by the Pegasi Council to ensure it.

[Hey, everyone. Stop what you're doing because a pony in a blue costume appearing on your scrolls.]

Hello everyone.

[The figure bows politely.]

My name is Chronos. I am the superhero who masters time and space. Today I traveled forward in time five days and I bring you some grave news. Cloudsdale is going to be taken over by griffons. In addition, there was a thief that is going to steal a gem from the griffon weather factory.

Lastly, I appeared in a white void with red eyes staring at me. They said "End experiment 10-075-011." I do not know what that means, but be weary of any red eyes in white voids.

I am going to need transportation up to Cloudsdale. I will need to stop the thief.

[The scroll opens up to a shot of Hain's office, still somewhat trashed - he's in the middle of cleaning up a pile of notebooks, and will continue to do so as he talks.]

First of all, I'd like to publically apologize for my absence over the last month; after the new changeling Queen took up her mantle, I spent most of my time helping to make things easier for my brethren to adjust to their new lives. I'm just now getting back in to resume my duties in therapy; I thank all of those who assisted my brethren in their time of need.

Secondly, as the town appears to no longer be under attack, I feel now is the appropriate time to notify Ms. Heartstrings that I've preemptively booked another appointment. I trust such things aren't too presumptuous?

Finally, the name "Maebhrin" was brought up by one of the Twilight Sparkle variants here as somepony I should speak with. Would that happen to be one of the ponies around Ponyville who happen to be blessed with these scrolls?

[A sneaky cat with his scroll dangling from his belt.

He moves in towards sugar cube corner, and then the scroll blacks out.

Black. Black.

And suddenly inside. Mrs. Cake is turned away and he sneaks past her with the silent grace of a cat.

He moves under a table, behind the counter, and back towards the cooler fridge.

The fridge opens, his jaws wrap around a canister of easy whip, and he gently closes the door. Back around to the front, just missing as Mrs. Cake turns around again, and the screen goes black.

----

When the scroll is back on Shadow again, it's on the ground, ants eye view.

Shadow is eating licking a talon full of whipped cream off his paw like a sneaky little foal might after sneaking cookies from the cookie jar.

He may be almost as big as any pony, but he's not nearly as aged, nor mature. He never once notices the scroll being on, until it eventually goes out on its own.]

[Shortly after one Queen Chrysalis 'graces' the journals with her visage, and a Pinkie Pie shoots off her message from the inside of a cocoon, an urgent visual message appears on the journals. One blue mare in armor and deep blue cloak can be seen with a few downed changelings behind her, and unlike normal, her countenance is anything but cheery, or even anxious. After checking to make sure the message is going out, she starts, her voice intense and determined. Have one relentless battlemaiden, Ponyville.]

Attention! This is Nephenee of Crimea, bringin' news from the battlefield!

Y'all just heard Pinkie and Chrysalis, right? Them Changelin's got a bunch of our friends, and they're sappin' 'em. We need to get rid of this threat, an' fast! We can't kill 'em, they're innocents, but we can knock 'em out, rescue our friends, and hold her 'til Princess Celestia gets here! But Ah can't do none of this by myself, so Ah ask to see who will help rescue and-or take out this so called 'Queen'!

[Another changeling charges her, and she hangs the scroll in midair long enough to spinkick it off screen,]

Please contact me as soon as y'all can! We need folks for that an' we need folks who know a strategy for beatin' these jerks! Any help will be appreciated!

[In short, reconnaissance and fighters, and a battle plan beyond that.]

To those captured, help is on the way as soon as we can! Don't lose hope!

[She quickly ends the feed as more charge. Dang, are these things everywhere?!]

[As for those nearby, the Sentinel is fighting off a bunch of these things by herself, but with their sapping, she probably could use some assistance.]

Private to Celestia )[After talking to Celestia:]

Does anypony here know binding magic?!

So...it's nice to see plenty of people getting excited over that whole fog crap. Now that it's over, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to know how to fight, in case that sort of thing happens again...and considering how Equestria works, I don't think it'll be that long.

So that's why I decided I'm gonna help you guys out. See, as a guy well-versed in kicking ass and being awesome, I've picked up on some wisdom here and there that I'm willing to share with those willing to listen. So if you wanna learn how to use a weapon or a little fist fighting, I'm your guy. I've already taken a few students under my wings, but with these guys... (The dragon flares open his great wings, clearly showing off.) ...I think there's room for a few more.

On the other hand, some of you guys already know how to fight and might need to blow off some steam...lucky for you, I'm good for that, too. If you need a spar, I can provide...because I'll be honest, I'm always up for a good fight. In case you're always up for one, too, then give me a call.

[Morgan's looking his spiffy best today, or at least as spiffy as anypony can get without dressing up. He has the scroll propped up so it looks up on him just a little, a little visual trick to better sell his message.]

Hey there. The name's Morgan Knight. I've met some of you at least, so hello if I have, and if I haven't nice to meet you!

I'm a martial artist, and conveniently enough, Ponyville seems to be low on martial artists right when I'm low on funding, so I'm here to offer training and lessons to anyone who has an interest in learning. I can tailor my lessons for your personal needs. If you just want exercise and conditioning, or if you want the deep depths of the philosophy of martial arts as a whole, I've got you covered. For the record, I have the most experience with aikido, but I'm proficient in other styles as well and will teach the one best suited to you. I also do weapons. [He jerks his head at the hilt visible over his shoulder.]

[Leaning back, he gestures with a hoof to the park he's seated in.]

Until I get a dojo, I'll be doing training in the park here, but don't worry about the weather. That isn't an implication that you'll be working too hard to notice you're cold, by the way, I mean it will actually be nice here in the park so long as I'm teaching here.

Feel free to stop by for an evaluation, a spar, or an attempt to prove I'm not anywhere near as good as you are. [He winks broadly at the camera.]

Great Scott!

I don't know where I am. All I see are multicolored horses. Not only that, but some are unicorns and pegasuses! Never in my life have I experienced real-life myths! It is simply amazing. I could go on watching them for hours and never get tired of them. They can even talk, too! This is probably both the best and most confusing moment in my life.

One moment I was watching the cheerleader fall off of the ferris wheel and the next I am here in this pony land. And it is embarrassing as I seem to have lost my pants. I cannot let anyone else see me without my pants. My first mission is to get some pants so I am not shameful.

So I will do what any hero in an RPG will do: explore the town in search of items! I can only hope no one sees me.

[Sometime after the ponies wake up, scrolls and quills suddenly start raining from the sky. Don't worry, its not the ponypocalypse, its just a squadron of flying white ponies dropping them from above.

Once everyone receives one, the scrolls suddenly glow and come to life, its surface revealing the visage of a large white alicorn with rainbow hair and a golden crown, sitting on a large, velvet-upholstered throne. She has a calm, reassuring, regal smile on her face as she speaks, though those who know her better can see the light of worry and concern in her eyes.]

Good afternoon, newponies! I am Princess Celestia.

I've heard of your arrival in Ponyville and of some of the more interesting stories that have come from it. We're...not certain how this phenomenon has occurred, but we here at the royal castle will put our efforts into solving this mystery, and I hope you will help us out as we wish to help you out!

Rest assured, no harm will come to you. Nor, as some of you have worried, are we holding you against your will. On the contrary, you're free to move about Equestria as you please, be it through Ponyville, Los Pegasus or anywhere in between. I only request that you use the scrolls we have provided you to check in from time to time, so that we know where you might be when we figure out the solution to this current situation.

If you have any questions, you are free to ask them of me. If I am not available - and, I will admit, there are times when I can be quite busy - there are many other ponies willing to help you, including the other princesses of Equestria. We are all in this together, after all.

[And then she smiles a little more. Its a much more relaxed smile. The concern is still there, of course.]

But, in the meantime, I'd also like to get to know all of you! I always like to meet new people, after all. I hear we even have a dragon?
