(Twilight rushes over after she rolls up her scroll. No more than a minute or two passes between the brief conversation and her appearance in Nozomi's store. She scrambles upstairs in search of the younger girl.)

[she's so distraught and confused by it all.]

You shouldn't. You shouldn't hate yourself. If I've learned anything, its that hating yourself won't help you to solve what's in front of you. And even then...you shouldn't hate who and what you are, and what you have.

I tried for so long not to worry anyone... all I wanted to do was wake up and find out that everything in Mayfield was just a bad dream! I didn't want anyone to worry, especially after what Twilight went through!

It's not that I hate who I am, it's I hate what I am and the fact that I'll never have my life again!

Nopony would blame you for being upset about what happened to you, and nopony would be ashamed of you if you admitted your fears. And those are big fears. Those things, you shouldn't have to keep to yourself and be burdened by them alone, you know?

[Says the girl who keeps her identity secret for fear of getting others hurt as collateral damage and also because of underlying distrust issues because sailor soldiers can be a bit territorial with their princesses. But that's all besides the point, right?]

Sometimes you can only look around and accept that the bad things happened, since the past...that can't be changed. But you can't let them overwhelm you. Because then you won't get the chance to take up your own special identity and make your own life. And...then you really won't have a future.

Dead gallop from commune to Night Market means Mako gets there in five minutes. She doesn't bother to knock, just opens the door and walks in.

"Nozomi!"

And as soon as Mako arrives does Nozomi rush up, nearly tackling her as she embraces her friend in an upset panic. "I tried, Mako! I... I didn't want to deal with it! I just thought...!
