Whoof... It's taking longer than expected, but my shop's coming along nicely! There's still work to be done, but when it's really done, I can start selling many of the Apple Family's stuff here and maybe a few other things, too!

Oh, before I forget, I've added a spot upstairs so we can hang out. L-like a base or something! We're all Cures so, we need to stick together one way or another... Like a team.

"Okay..." Nozomi uttered, nodding as she turned around, heading upstairs, leading Mako to a room with a few chairs, a couch and a few beds.

"M-Make yourself at home..." She uttered weakly, heading for a bed and flopping on it.

[etranger]

Mako wanders over to the same bed as Nozomi and sits down next to it, resting her head on the mattress.

"...you want to start?"

"Where do I start?" Nozomi uttered before answering that question. "I honestly thought that I had been able to easily get over what I learned in Mayfield. I knew Ako had forced herself to accept it, but... I was hoping that we could escape. When Twilight became Nightmare Moon, I tried to keep quiet about it for my own good, but it didn't work - everywhere I turned, something here reminded me of what I had and... I... I got scared. I mean, I was seriously wasn't going to show this off because... Because..."

She whimpered again.

"...I don't want to replace my team... My friends..."

[etranger]

Time to be blunt, it seems.

"You can't replace them. That's not how it works."

Mako pats Nozomi's mane with one hoof.

"You're adding. I don't think of you as a replacement for the friends I left behind, and neither should you."

[ponycure_dream]

Nozomi's eyes glance down even as Mako pats her mane.

"Just adding? I... really?"

It never dawned on her that just because she's getting new friends, especially those with Cure abilities, doesn't mean those she first met don't mean anything now.

[etranger]

"Really. You're not Cheren, or Bianca, or even N. You can't do the things they did for me. But...they wouldn't have been able to do the things you did for me, either."

Still stroking Nozomi's mane - this kind of reminds her of when Etranger was still a Deino and she'd rock her to sleep. It's...nostalgic, almost.

"They're all my irreplaceable friends...and so are you."

[ponycure_dream]

"Mako... th-thank you..."

Nozomi sniffled before laying down, allowing Mako to continue stroking her mane. It just felt comforting, especially with how hurt and confused she was.

"...you're irreplaceable, too...

[etranger]

Mako's ears start twitching to a beat as she starts humming little snatches of a song.

"Everything's gonna be all right
Rockabye, rockabye
Everything's gonna be all right
Rockabye, rockabye
Rockabye."

And as Mako sings, Nozomi starts to calm down more, sighing as she relaxes, closing her eyes as she does.
