6th spear ↟, a wish unfufilled [Video]

[She had woken up to the sun and birds chirping as usual, but...suddenly she was not small anymore. She was back to her normal size, Amaryllis and Daisy snoozing beside her. Somehow though, as she remembered the past week, she still felt small.
Last week was insane. This was not an opinion, this was a fact to her. She hadn't realized how much she had driven that part of her into hiding growing up, but she just wanted it to go away now. It wasn't knowing that her father had pas-okay, knowing his passing had been not long after that age was part of it. What was bothering her more was how that child had been, being so adamant about leaving her family, her life, forging another destiny. It made her a bit sick to think about it. So she didn't. She did feel ashamed, however.
For now though, she needed to talk to some people, reintroduce herself to those she had met as a filly, hope they weren't put off by her. So there's a flustered looking pony on the feed now. For some of the ponies, she'd look familiar to a small filly they might have met with a giant bow in her hair. To others that knew her, she'd seemed...more withdrawn than usual.]
...Well, last week certainly was somethin'. Ah hope everypony's okay.
Um, cause Ah met a few of you as a filly, Ah should probably reintroduce myself. Ah'm Nephenee...Ah was a little filly last week, big bow in my hair. Just...wanted to apologize for anything Ah might have done or said. Bit of a brat back then...

[Private to Bertie]
Sir Bertie, can ya come over? Ah...wanted ta talk to ya.

[Private to Utsusemimaru]
Hey, Sir Utchy, how ya holdin' up after last week?
[Visual]
[Joking aside, Arcee does recall being told there was some sort of horrible magic problem going on when she arrived. She never thought it'd actually effect her though, even indirectly. It's kind of weird, talk about awkward.]
[Visual] I laughed
[Speaking of folks she wanted to apologize to...]
H-hi, Miss Arcee. How are ya holdin' up?
[Visual] :3c
[But enough about her.]
What about you? It didn't...hurt or anything, did it?
[Visual] I love Arcee a lot ok
Nah, Ah woke up and just...was a mare again. At least it didn't last too long. Ah got a lot of farmin' ta do now, though.
Uh...Ah wanted to apologize to ya about the whole 'kitty' thing.
[Visual] o-oh gosh, thanks ;;
[She shivers slightly, knowing very well if this were, say, Miko, this would have been 1000x worse.]
I'm just glad everything's back to normal. ...Or as normal as this place gets.

[Hello, Neph. Have a somewhat familiar-if now adult-pink and blue mare in the scroll.
They might not have met before, but if you've seen her around the commune, you'd recognize her as the mare who does a lot of the heavy labor.]
Visual
Oh, Miss Gwen! Ah almost didn't recognize you.

[That was more of a relaxed tone than anything. Because she was a kid herself and didn't really see any problems with you.]

[Better safe than sorry.]

[There, she said it.]
And besides, we all have our human foibles. Or, well, pony foibles. No one spends time as a kid with that being who they're going to grow up to be.

That's probably for the best, Sir York. Ah ain't proud of how Ah used ta be.
Did you get changed too?

It's a short few minutes later that Bertie arrives at Nephenee's bedroom door and knocks.]
Ms. Nephenee? It's Bertie!

[Okay, just Bertie. Now she feels silly in addition to feeling sheepish. Most excellent.
She walks over to the door and opens it, and has a rather...remorseful look on her face.]
H-hi, Sir Bertie.

[Does she look alright, Bertie?]
Ah...could be better. But, please come in.

Oh. Dreadfully sorry to hear that. Is there anything I can do?

Might be a good place to start wrapping things up.

What of yourself?
[Visual]
Heh, poor Pteragordon. Ah'll make him a treat ta make up for it.
Ah...could be doin' better, gotta admit. Ah'm sorry for sayin' some of the stuff Ah did. Like assumin' ya should know the difference between a small horse and a pony...
[Visual]
Oh, no, Lady Nephenee, it is quite all right. We were just children then, after all!
[Visual]
[She raises a hoof in thought.]
Ya mentioned your family was farmers too?
[Visual]
[There is a sheepish nod.]
That was before I left to become a swordsman...I fear that I left at a much younger age than I should have, but it all turned out for the best in the end.
