Citizens of Ponyville, I and I alone implore to you - do not use more force than necessary on the drones. I understand the need to defend yourselves, and protect those you truly care for, but these changelings know only the orders of their twisted, barbaric queen. They are not at fault here, she is.

I would prefer that as few of them are grievously injured as possible; please only attack to incapacitate or drive off, not to harm.

Not all of us are as violent as Chrysalis. Please, believe that.

As the scroll switches on, it reveals Mako bustling around her room preparing things.

"Uh, hi, Mako here - listen, because of the invasion, I'll keep this short. The Changeling Queen, Chrysalis, has been hiding here in Ponyville for at least four months now, disguised as a unicorn named Harvester. I am pretty sure she has a shop somewhere around here; somepony might want to get on that. If you'll excuse me, I have some friends I need to check up on."

*What a nice, cold, sunny winter morning. Beautiful and calm, a perfectly normal sunrise...except what's that big storm cloud in the sky by the border of the Everfree Forest? Well, it seems to be a cloud castle under construction! It flickers with the occasional bolt of bright purple lightning and anyone who pays a visit will find a batpony flying around and pointing with one hoof as the clouds grow and shift at his mental command. This goes on well into the morning, quite late for a batpony to still be so active. By the time he's done, the building has taken form into a creepy, gothic style castle flashing purple intermittently, the absolute image of a supervillain's hideout.

Around mid-morning, said batpony appears on the scrolls. He's lounging on a bed made of dark clouds with orbs of crackling purple electricity floating around and casting an eerie light. The way his eyes glow behind his red visor don't really help, either.*

So, uh...this is kind of an embarrassing question, but what's a nocturnal pony supposed to do for money around here? I came with some on me, but it's starting to look like it won't be enough to last until I get home.
