[In the waking world, Lyra fell out of bed with a loud thud, breathing hard. The scroll fluttered to the side as she grasped her hoof, arm shaking as she examined it for any signs of Inves-transformation.
Finding none, she staggered to her bedroom mirror, and then suddenly, her left eye flared red. Shrieking, there was a noise of shattering glass as Lyra collapsed into a sobbing mess.]

[It's about two hours after the appearance of the Pale Pony, and everything that came with it. You might think that things would calm down again, but no.
This time, Flare Star fires up a scrollthat she basically pulled straight away from Dust and starts talking, about as seriously as many ponies have ever heard out of her - the exceptions being Queen Chrysalis (who got to hear the tone when she was attacking the pegasus) and Zecora (whom she helped during Nightmare Night).]
The cards've been played. I don't know what kind of feeling that was that I felt back there, but I know it is evil. No more playing around, no more wasting time trying to understand.
I'm not saying that we don't still need to research this nag, far from it. In fact, we need to centralize our research, so that everypony has the same access to it. It's only right in times of war to allow your soldiers to know of the enemy they fight.
She pulls us all in at random, focusing on those with powers, and then every month, she culls. A few more get drawn into her, possibly for keeps. By standing before us today, by proving that she exists, she has declared war. Not on Equestria, but on every last one of our worlds.
Buck compassion, and buck caring for a pony so far gone that she'll steal souls for her own gain.
She needs to die.

It seems that everyone wants to play hush-hush over all of this, but this is a double-edged blade. Let me tell you a story:
On two worlds, the World of Super Sentai and the World of Kamen Rider, the forces of evil of those worlds plotted to destroy the heroes of those worlds and take over. Two heroes, one of each world, learned of those plans and decided they would save the day by taking over the groups and doing the job for them. They wouldn't kill the heroes, just send them away until the time was right then defeat them all.
But, there was a flaw in this plan - they wouldn't tell a soul of it. They hoped their friends and allies would realize something was up and figure it out. They had to keep up appearances.
This nearly proved to be their undoing. One of those friends was hurt by it. How dare they use them like this without telling them why? So, he nearly brought about the plan in a fit of rage. In the end, the newest heroes of those worlds were able to stop the friend from doing anything he'd regret, but he was hurt by the lies and deceit.
He's probably over it by now, but with him, it's impossible to tell.
I'd think twice about willingly trying to keep a secret this dangerous. Something needs to be done, but advocating secrecy that angers another is not the way to go.
Oh, and if you don't believe my story, ask Captain Marvelous if you see him around sometime.

[And there's Tsukasa at the table, placing a slightly-large chocolate sculpture on a table as the scroll opens up... it looks like him as Decade. Ego much, Tsukasa. As he examines it, he starts to talk.]
So. Games are about to start soon. Think everything'll go well. From what I understand, things have been quite quiet.

[And someone's scroll opens up to show a confrontation between a pink-colored horse sporting a jacket confronting a group of black and white ponies flanking a... large Pokeball? Looks like Zedd was ready to unleash a monster and someone interfered.]
Alright, you punk, get out of the way! Zedd wants those Pokemon things captured lickety-split!
[The horse rolls his eyes in annoyance before shaking his head.]
Another wanna-be ruler? Pathetic. You're way over your head with this, y'know.
And who the hay are you to tell me what I am?!
[That seemed to be his cue. Standing up on his hind legs, he straps on a belt before holding out a card.]
I'm just a passing through Kamen Rider. Remember that! [The card slides into the device on the belt, snaps it shut and...]
[KAMEN RIDE: DECADE!]
[And we got a Kamen Rider in our presence. Decade charges forward, battling the mooks away before dealing with the monster. Obviously, Zedd didn't think this one through as a giant ball monster just seems too easy to beat. Which it is. The next thing heard as another card is slid in?]
[FINAL ATTACK RIDE: D-D-D-DECADE!]
[Decade leaps into the air and delivers a powerful Rider Kick on the way down, destroying the beast and reverting it back to a normal Pokeball.]
Tch. Seriously?

Seeing as everyone's been angry about this "Hoovesweek", I decided to take a peek into what was being said. Well, at least since every"pony" here has been stuck here. I'm glad, though, that some keep their magazines.
First issue seemed pretty tame - there was mention of the "newponies", but a lot of it seemed to have focused on a "Princess Twilight Sparkle" Second issue seems to have a lot more focus on us "newponies". In fact, the other issues seemed to have the same feeling. They seem very... friendly towards us, but it was this issue that got flipped on its head. I have a feeling that something's happened since the previous issue and this issue - major events in our lives aside - that turned everything on its head and started with this.
One thing I did notice was that most of these issues did mention a "biography" movie and with this issue, we know it's about Princess Celestia. However, I have no clue if that means anything right now.
I have a feeling that this is just the start, though...

[Hello, ponies. Celestia is in her now-open sky bedroom, laying on her bed. Now that she's back to normal and there is no beehive hair to distract everyone, its pretty obvious that there are injuries on the princess, as well as weird burns on her, that she is healing up with a soft glow of her horn.]
My ponies. I told you after the battle, I would explain everything. That time is right now. I...had hoped it wouldn't come to this, but you deserve to know...

[The Night Market has gotten a strange new addition: a new building called "Hikari Studio". That wasn't there before, now was it? Either way, the others seemed to have taken it in stride. Even more strange is the new pony standing guard - an Earth Pony dressed up in pink royal armor, awkwardly holding a spear with one of his legs.]
Geh... how do you hold this? Already missing fingers...
[He lets out a sigh as he finally straightens out and goes back to "guarding". You'd probably think he's nothing special... at least until you see his Cutie Mark.
The "Destroyer of Worlds" has arrived in Ponyville.]

[Sometime after the ponies wake up, scrolls and quills suddenly start raining from the sky. Don't worry, its not the ponypocalypse, its just a squadron of flying white ponies dropping them from above.
Once everyone receives one, the scrolls suddenly glow and come to life, its surface revealing the visage of a large white alicorn with rainbow hair and a golden crown, sitting on a large, velvet-upholstered throne. She has a calm, reassuring, regal smile on her face as she speaks, though those who know her better can see the light of worry and concern in her eyes.]
Good afternoon, newponies! I am Princess Celestia.
I've heard of your arrival in Ponyville and of some of the more interesting stories that have come from it. We're...not certain how this phenomenon has occurred, but we here at the royal castle will put our efforts into solving this mystery, and I hope you will help us out as we wish to help you out!
Rest assured, no harm will come to you. Nor, as some of you have worried, are we holding you against your will. On the contrary, you're free to move about Equestria as you please, be it through Ponyville, Los Pegasus or anywhere in between. I only request that you use the scrolls we have provided you to check in from time to time, so that we know where you might be when we figure out the solution to this current situation.
If you have any questions, you are free to ask them of me. If I am not available - and, I will admit, there are times when I can be quite busy - there are many other ponies willing to help you, including the other princesses of Equestria. We are all in this together, after all.
