Now that the weather has calmed down, I've got some news.

Normally these training camps would be in the summer, but the Badlands serve a welcome purpose, in that they're typically warmer. Thus being said, people of empowered and not status are welcome to join in on a training camp for harnessing power sets. Both kinds of training with physical and weapons will be allowed, and for the most part will take place near the town of Dodge Junction. We'll be setting up camp there in the desert, which will simulate our needs for warmer weather.

Activities include hiking, working out, and team work building exercises. Be sure to dress for the weather, bring whatever is needed, and bring your power set too if you have it. I will also be handling a everyone-on-me fight simulation so be prepared for that as well.

Training camp is in one week or so, near the beginning of February, so if you have plans for Hearts and Hooves Day then be sure to let me know, so we can return as soon as possible.

For those interested in teaching as well, come along and teach in your own environments. There will be resources for training purposes set up as I will be away setting this up before the week begins.

Sunset Shimmer, I'd like to talk to you as well about coming along for training ponies in magic as well, so that we can include the basics as well. If you don't mind.

[One big fluffy dog lies in front of his scroll, his big dog eyes appearing a tad lost, like they're searching for something.]

It is good to see the people of this world returning to themselves. I know losing control is not a good thing to live through...

[He shifts, letting his head rest on one paw.]

I am sorry I was not as much help as I could have been...I honestly do not remember where I have been...it does not matter.

[The diamond dog didn't come here just to make small talk anyhow.]

But I must be true...I did not call only for this. I have a question...how does one forget? How does one forget someone you know you cannot see?

I don't know the answer myself. Maybe someone knows it...

IT'S JAPPLEACK!
I flaked up. And I'm sorry.

I could take about all the shit that's been going on recently or how these Wendygus brotherhuffers had control of me or whatever but shit doesn't matter. I'm sure there'll be more and more ponies showing up on here to apologize and I just needed to get mine out.

Sorry. I promise if you try talking to me know I won't hit you.

[Private to Cameron]

Especially you. Holy hell, kid, are you alright?

Nephenee Knight
[The 19th:]

[It's shortly after the blizzard starts, that some rumors circulate that rainbow explosions have been seen again, and that one of the ponies that vanished is back. Weeeell, those rumors, and some others, are definitely founded, as the feed goes live on the scrolls. One Nephenee pops up, her head only in view, and she grins sheepishly.]

Uh...hiya, everypony...Ah'm back. Sorry for worryin' y'all...but Ah'm fine! For those who don't know me, Ah'm Nephenee..Ah help run the Commune, though Ah kinda got pulled into another world for a bit. Again. An' Ah brought a few friends with me this time...

[She motions to something, or someone, off-camera.]

Chrys, Myri, come over here.

[A large, yellow, extremely fluffy sheep pokes her head in the frame, as does a steely blue diamond dog, both looking curiously at the sheet of 'paper'.]

This is Chrysanthemum [A bleat..was that an electric charge you just saw? Nah, probably nothing.], an' Myrddin [The dog takes after his namesakes well, barking happily with a wagging tail.]...we met in a place called Kalos, in one o'them worlds with Pokémon, so Ah'm the trainer for these two.

Uh..that ain't the only thing that changed, though...

[The visual pans out, and the thing apparent to those familiar with her is...well, the wings she now has!]

Ah uh...seem to have wings now. Don't know why, but Ah do.
...If..somepony could help me learn to use these darn things after this darn blizzard's over, Ah'd sure appreciate it.

[She looks off-screen, rubbing the back of her neck, while one wing flares out without so much as a by-your-leave from her.]

...Somepony should really tell Cálice or whatever makes us be certain things here Ah'm a Sentinel, not a Pegasus Knight...

[The 27th:]

[After the insanity of all that, Neph's had a chance to try to get some flight practice in, and to try to relax and help others do the same. But it seems there are those that were hit hard by the Windigos' spell, so after some talking and brainstorming with Lethe, the mare pops up on the scrolls, wrapped up in the blanket Morgan gave her for an anniversary.]

Boy, Ah sure am glad them Windigos are gone...hopefully things'll be quiet for a bit.

Ah was talkin' with Lethe, an' we figured that folks could use somethin' to help 'em unwind a lil'...an' Arcee gave me an idea at the party. Why not have a lil' get together at my house, with pillows an' blankets an' snacks? We could make lil' 'forts' with 'em an' jus' hang out an' stay warm. Wanted to see who'd be up for that.

Also, now that it ain't super windy, Ah'd like to try to learn to use my new wings. [She forces one to peek out from under the covers, just barely visible. Darn muscles.] Ah've been tryin' to get them movin' when Ah want 'em to, but the new muscles are real weak. Most o'the time, they jus' pop out when they feel like it. An' Ah probably should try to get in some trainin' soon, too.

[Nephenee winces as she tries to fold the wing back in, and frowns.]

...Maybe not today on the lessons an' trainin', though. Ah reckon Ah need to go to the spa for a spell...

Dear Princess Celestia,

I know the past week has been rough for us with the snow and the Windingos and all of them, but I feel that this week's taught me a lesson or two, especially with what I want to do.

I think the biggest thing I've learned is that standing up for your beliefs is a rough and painful thing to accomplish and that, ultimately, it may come out on top in the end. When Coco became influenced by the creatures, I confronted her, but I refused to fight her. I didn't want to. I don't like fighting teammates nor friends. It's easy to try to pummel someone, but it's much more rewarding to have the higher ground. Sure, I got beat up -- and I got this really neat scar over my right eye! Makes me look unique! -- but, I hope someone saw what I did and hope that it gave them a better idea of what we can do than just try to hurt someone.

I'm not good at writing letters, so I hope this comes clear to you!
